Passengers planning to travel to Uzbekistan by Uzbekistan Airways flights must have with them a certificate in English or Russian with a negative result of testing for COVID-19 taken by PCR no more than 72 hours before the flight departure. In the absence of a negative test result and or a valid certificate, passengers will be denied check-in for their flight.
Kindly informing you that the special Republican Commission on the preparation of a program of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the Republic of Uzbekistan made a decision to conduct express test for the presence of coronavirus antigen for each passenger arriving to Uzbekistan from December 25, 2020.
Testing is made upon arrival at the airport, railway stations and border points at the expense of the passenger.
This requirement applies to all arriving passengers despite having a negative COVID-19 test results on hand.
In case of a positive express test result upon arrival, passengers will be hospitalized to get treatment accordingly or accommodated in appropriate hotels for two weeks isolation and treatment, costs to be covered by the passenger themselves.
Also, according to the decision of the special Republican Commission on the fight against coronavirus, entry to Uzbekistan is prohibited during the period of the restriction for citizens and persons permanently residing in the UK, Italy, Denmark, Austria, Australia, the Netherlands and South Africa, as well as third-country nationals who have visited above mentioned countries within last 14 days.

EU citizens, who have stayed in Germany 14 days before departure to Uzbekistan enter Uzbekistan without a two-week quarantine.
