The National Airline Carrier "Uzbekistan Havo Yullari" will soon put into operation a new airport building "Fergana" located in Fergana.
On the eve of Independence Day of Uzbekistan, the new airport building will start operating, according to the news from the press office of Uzbekistan Airways.
Project cost is estimated at 18 billion Uzbek Soums. The project includes in itself the installation of modern ventilation system and air conditioning systems, baggage handling systems, fire safety, transport and reconstruction of the fuel depot.
Now passenger service will be carried out on the ground floor of the airport. Passengers do not have to go up to the second floor with luggage. Airport capacity will remain the same now having the ability to provide services for 400 pax / hour.
